Meet the Orlando Team Behind Hale Windows Orlando

The crew you’ll see at your door in Orlando isn’t a rotating cast of subcontractors. We’re a tight group of window and door specialists who’ve worked together long enough to read each other’s moves on a ladder. What unites us is simple: we treat every home in College Park, Winter Park, and Dr. Phillips like it belongs to someone we know. Because in this city, with its afternoon downpours and August humidity, a badly installed window isn’t just a comfort problem. It’s a mold problem, a rot problem, and an AC bill problem. Our job is to make sure you don’t have any of those.

Our People

Mike R. – Lead Technician

Mike has been setting windows and hanging doors in Central Florida for 18 years, the last six with our Orlando team. He’s our lead on complex replacement jobs, the one who figures out how to pull a rotted frame out of a 1950s block house without disturbing the stucco. Mike holds manufacturer certifications for PGT and CGI hurricane-impact lines, which matters when you’re installing glass that has to pass Florida code. Off the clock, he rebuilds vintage motorcycles in his garage in Conway, usually while listening to classic rock at a volume his neighbors have diplomatically learned to accept.

Luis M. – Senior Installer

Luis joined us after spending a decade doing new-construction installs across the Orlando metro, which means he’s seen every framing shortcut a builder can take. That background makes him ruthless about flashing, shimming, and leveling. He specializes in Therma-Tru front door systems and ES Windows, and he’s the guy who notices when a slab is out by a quarter inch before it becomes your problem. Luis is originally from Puerto Rico, lives in Azalea Park, and makes a slow-roasted pork shoulder that the crew has been trying to bribe out of him for years.

Dana K. – Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice you’ll hear when you call (850) 613-9382. She’s been coordinating service schedules in Orlando for over a decade and keeps a mental map of every neighborhood from Baldwin Park to MetroWest, which means she can usually tell you when we’ll be in your area without even looking at the board. Dana is the one who sends you the name and photo of your technician before the visit, part of the Threshold Standard we follow on every job. She has a rescue greyhound named Biscuit and strong opinions about Orlando’s best Cuban sandwiches, which she will happily share if you ask.

Jay T. – Apprentice Installer

Jay is the newest member of the crew, two years into his apprenticeship and already fluent in the fine points of low-E glass (a thin coating that blocks heat while letting light through) and the differences between CWS and ViewLux lines. He works under Mike and Luis on every job, learning the right way to flash a window so Orlando’s rainy season never finds its way inside. Jay grew up in the Orlando area and still plays rec-league soccer on weekends out near Lake Nona. He’s the one who double-checks the truck at the end of the day, and he takes that seriously.
